Well, hell is freezing over. Avril is engaged to Deryck...An engagement that I hope gets broken off I don't know why I think this is a tragedy. It could be worse. It could be my arch-enemy---Paris Hilton. But I think of all of the rock stars that I don't know, Deryck would be one I could marry. Maybe someone from Simple Plan...or maybe Kris Roe (who would appriciate my James Taylor roots and creativity) but he's already married.
In other news, I probably won't be moving to Florida anytime soon. I talked to Kayleen yesterday and she has decided to go back to Kansas and give vet tech school a try for a while. This is good, I think. But alas, it prevents me from seeing Brad again.
I am searching for apartments and hope to have one picked out either this week or next here in Columbia. I am just going to tough it out and work at Hy-Vee for awhile and hope that a real life job comes through soon. I am so sick of Hy-Vee. I have a new boss-Catlyn. She is younger than me and acts like I don't know what I am doing. Ugh! I have more GM experience than she does. Glenn Rehn says I am jelous and maybe I am but still I don't like being condesended to. At least when I am in charge at night (like I will be tonight) I give options-'Frank, do you want to go outside and water plants or do you want to do this?'
I'm still thinking about going back for a BS in food science but only if I can get it done in a year (figuring that I don't need to do any prereqs and I have 6 hours already). But I can't get the requirements to come up on a iMac.

Xanga-June 23, 2005
Before I start my review of Warped Tour-I would like to go over my life options once again. I have added some and they are as follows:
-work in Columbia at Hy-Vee
-work at Hy-Vee in St. Joe
-get a real job with my degree and live whereever
-move to Florida and be with Brad
-go to vet school (not that I have any control over that and Kathy told me that it probably wasn't happening this year)
-go to grad school (reproduction, maybe, but I still have to wait till next year)
-go back to Mizzou and get a second BS (food science)
-go to vet tech school (in Colorado)
-live in my car, learn to play the guitar and become famous like Jewel
-become a roadie/groupie for Ludo or some yet to be determined band
-kill myself (yes, its still an option)
So Tuesday I went to Warped Tour in St.Louis. I met up with my friend, Josh Gilton and left my car at West County Mall to save on Parking, which I had to pay all of anyway.
Ludo was playing as the doors openned which sucked. I thought the Kevin Says/Hot Topic stage was a step up from the Ernie Ball stage but I was sadly mistaken. They were on the same level as the crowd but rocked anyway. Broken Bride Part 1, Hum Along, Mr. Mayor, Roxy and GWHBM. I (don't hate me martha) wore the first homemade Ludo shirt (This is my Ludo shirt) and I don't know how many people were like 'I like your shirt' and someone even asked where I got it. Andrew and Pmo made fun of me and my shirt. We were watching Jupiter Sunrise's set (I forgot that this is the band with both my older brother and the hobbit in it) and Tim Ferrell threw a bottle at me. And hit the girl next to me which he apoligized very profoundly to afterwards.
Not once but twice I saw the drummer from Fall Out Boy (Patrick, maybe?) rush past me. I really only notice him because he looks like Tim Ferrell and has sleeves. Anyway, and twice i didn't stop him for an autograph. The first time he literally ran past and the second time he was already being mobbed and I didn't want to join in.
I saw this other guy that I thought I knew from somewhere but I didn't know where. A band that I had seen before? No, that guy had more tattoos. And then I knew! Its Harley's little black haired friend. I seriously was going to ask him if he went to Mizzou and if he had a friend named Harley but I again wussed out.
I have decided (or at least am considering) that when I have money for a haircut that I am going to go with an emo boy look-short in the back longer in the front. (I'll find pictures to illstrate my point) but that begs the question would I be required to dye it black? And regardless of that would I be required to dye the patch of pink, purple or beach blonde too?
Bands I saw-some of the following-The Starting Line, Rushmore Acadamy, Senses Fail and all of-Ludo, The Transplants, My Chemical Romance and The All-American Rejects (which I was near the front for). I am sure there were more but my brain got fried by the sun.
And when I went home, I had a flat tire. A little air in it and it was okay.
Oh, Mark Dodds, my drunk Hy-Vee boss, shaved his head. No longer does he look like Andrew. Some how though he thinks if he takes off his glasses that he looks like Billy Corgian.
I didn't get the promotion to HBC manager at Hy-Vee. Glenn Rehn will pay for my disappointment!

Xanga-June 20, 2005
I signed up for myspace but don't expect anything to happen with it. Seeing as that I don't have a computer of my own I am forced to use the university's public iMacs. They suck and I don't know how to do much more than type on them. (but add me as your friend...if you actually know me)
I have been working a bit at the Vee. Its not bad, I guess. I put in for a promotion there. It was Glenn Rehn's idea.
I'm going to Warped Tour tomorrow only because Gilton bought a ticket before I could stop him. So now I am broke.
I am devistated that I missed Justin's party. I however went to a party with Rachel Ray and it was good fun. That girl has also learned the fine art of poster stealing and presented me with a weather worn poster from the Feb. 3rd show of Ludo at Mojo's. Very nice esp. since neither of us were anywhere near the state in Feb. I stole a poster for July 15th-they are of exceptional quality and I suggest getting one stolen for yourself. (Frei I am all over it so don't you worry)
I have been having all kinds of dreams lately. I don't know if the can be related to anything in partucular but they are bizarre.
And I am considering my options for the future. Off the top of my head they are as follows:
-work in Columbia at Hy-Vee
-move to St. Joe and work at Hy-Vee
-get a real job with my degree and work where ever
-move to Florida with Brad and get a job
-go to vet school (I have no control over this)
-go to grad school (reproduction maybe, but I'd have to wait another year)
-go to Mizzou and work on another BS (food science)
-live in my car, learn to play the guitar and become famous like Jewel (this was suggested to me by someone at the party)
-kill myself
Pick the best choice!

Xanga-June 16, 2005
Well, I am back in Columbia with a sorry lack of computer usage.
Its good to be back and get to see all of my friends...however, I now miss everyone in Florida and have dreams about being there. What does August hold? I don't know so you shouldn't either.
When I got back a week and a half (almost two) ago, I played kickball with the vet school team. There was some serious third grade moves going on out there. I loved it. Then I spent the next week sleeping and this week I started work back at Hy-Vee.
Justin came and visited which held lots of fun and I am secretly very, very pissed that I can't go to his birthday party. But instead of being sad, I am going to a party with Rachel Ray. Will we be calling Jose in Florida drunk? Odds are in favor of it!
Since I have been back I have hung out with Glenn Rehn some which was as usual fun. And I learned where Chris Convy lives-it was a sheer accident I swear! On Monday, I welcomed Teresa Volpe back into the state on her visit. She didn't know who I was but I am sure that on some level she did. And I love Oh!Henry bars.
