Before I start my review of Warped Tour-I would like to go over my life options once again. I have added some and they are as follows:
-work in Columbia at Hy-Vee
-work at Hy-Vee in St. Joe
-get a real job with my degree and live whereever
-move to Florida and be with Brad
-go to vet school (not that I have any control over that and Kathy told me that it probably wasn't happening this year)
-go to grad school (reproduction, maybe, but I still have to wait till next year)
-go back to Mizzou and get a second BS (food science)
-go to vet tech school (in Colorado)
-live in my car, learn to play the guitar and become famous like Jewel
-become a roadie/groupie for Ludo or some yet to be determined band
-kill myself (yes, its still an option)
So Tuesday I went to Warped Tour in St.Louis. I met up with my friend, Josh Gilton and left my car at West County Mall to save on Parking, which I had to pay all of anyway.
Ludo was playing as the doors openned which sucked. I thought the Kevin Says/Hot Topic stage was a step up from the Ernie Ball stage but I was sadly mistaken. They were on the same level as the crowd but rocked anyway. Broken Bride Part 1, Hum Along, Mr. Mayor, Roxy and GWHBM. I (don't hate me martha) wore the first homemade Ludo shirt (This is my Ludo shirt) and I don't know how many people were like 'I like your shirt' and someone even asked where I got it. Andrew and Pmo made fun of me and my shirt. We were watching Jupiter Sunrise's set (I forgot that this is the band with both my older brother and the hobbit in it) and Tim Ferrell threw a bottle at me. And hit the girl next to me which he apoligized very profoundly to afterwards.
Not once but twice I saw the drummer from Fall Out Boy (Patrick, maybe?) rush past me. I really only notice him because he looks like Tim Ferrell and has sleeves. Anyway, and twice i didn't stop him for an autograph. The first time he literally ran past and the second time he was already being mobbed and I didn't want to join in.
I saw this other guy that I thought I knew from somewhere but I didn't know where. A band that I had seen before? No, that guy had more tattoos. And then I knew! Its Harley's little black haired friend. I seriously was going to ask him if he went to Mizzou and if he had a friend named Harley but I again wussed out.
I have decided (or at least am considering) that when I have money for a haircut that I am going to go with an emo boy look-short in the back longer in the front. (I'll find pictures to illstrate my point) but that begs the question would I be required to dye it black? And regardless of that would I be required to dye the patch of pink, purple or beach blonde too?
Bands I saw-some of the following-The Starting Line, Rushmore Acadamy, Senses Fail and all of-Ludo, The Transplants, My Chemical Romance and The All-American Rejects (which I was near the front for). I am sure there were more but my brain got fried by the sun.
And when I went home, I had a flat tire. A little air in it and it was okay.
Oh, Mark Dodds, my drunk Hy-Vee boss, shaved his head. No longer does he look like Andrew. Some how though he thinks if he takes off his glasses that he looks like Billy Corgian.
I didn't get the promotion to HBC manager at Hy-Vee. Glenn Rehn will pay for my disappointment!
