Today I am wearing a pink striped shirt over a pink tank top, khakis and brown mules.
I have a bOne quiz today that I guess I am ready for.
GDI is tonight. I am contemplating going even though I have to check on cows later, maybe?
Nothing else is really going on.
My puppy is the world's cutest dog! She wins by default!

Why dating an emo boy would benefit me:
1) we could share clothes
2) we could cut and dye each others hair into matching styles
3) being melodramatic would be considered emotional inspiration
Yes, I still need a boyfriend. I wish I could just go to The Boyfriend Store and pick one out. I get paid on Friday so I could do it then.

Missouri is no longer The Show Me State. It has been renamed The Moody State. How is it that I go to class amid thunder, lightning and rain only to emerge 50 minutes later to sun?
I hope my car doesn't get towed. I parked where I shouldn't have.
Rockstar: INXS update! So this week the unimaginable happened. At one point during the voting both Marty and Mig were in the bottom three! The final bottom three were Ty, Deanna and Marty! You could tell that Jordis was upset that she wasn't in the bottom three because she thought she should be. She failed to hit a note when doing 'Dream On'. INXS told Marty the day before when doing 'I,Alone' (which I alone thought was wonderful) that they wanted to hear less screaming and more singing. He is a bit scremo. Anyway, Deanna was kicked off. I'm still wondering what they are going to do when the people's favorites can't sing INXS songs.
I think it needs to be noted that in my notes for astronomy I have: Things to see in sky-stars, moon, sun'
My class schedule is roughly-what pigs/chickens eat, rocks, stars and then what I should eat.
In both geology and astronomy, I feel a good prereq. would be having just completed 7th grade science. They would know more about what's going on then I do. I don't really care but I need to keep in mind that 4.0 that I need.
My food science teacher wears a bolo tie. And he doesn't run his own computer which annoys me.
Firman just looks like a chicken. I learned about the Maillard reaction and that toast isn't as good for you as regular bread.

So there are all kinds of random people in my classes. The 'wait, what about outer space' girl, people from Hy-Vee, and possibly Jenna Blakemore's little sister. Random.
I am already so sick of classes. And this working all hours of the night in addition to having to go to school really sucks too.
So Glenn Rehn owes me big time. Last night, I helped him work dairy. AGAIN! And get this. He is dating a girl that went to my high school. She was two years behind me. What are the odds of that? At any given time, my high school had no more than say 500 kids in it. And now on a campus roughly a hundred times that, Glenn is dating a girl that went there.
Diana Korenak and I were talking about the fact that we graduated five years ago in the spring. She believes that there will be a reunion. This stresses me out. On one hand, I'd LOVE to go and see who's fucked up their lives but at the same time I don't want to go and people think-'Yeah, that Leslie is right where we'd knew she'd be' or 'You havn't changed' and mean it. So its a little stressful to think about. She also told me that several weeks ago, a guy from our class was killed. Ryan Burke and I wern't friends but I remember that he sat next to me in physics and we were very funny together. I think he also got like a 34 on the ACT. Anyway, the guy driving-Dan Dageling-was also in our class and now faces 2-5 years for involuntary manslaugter. Too much.

Halfway through my day of classes and it sucks. I still have astronomy and food science. Then I have to find my car and go to work.
As soon as I was like, 'you know I havn't seen anyone from my high school in a while' and this being a good thing. I run into Diana Korenak. We were pretty good friends in high school and now we have geology together. The thing is that Diana it seems has done a complete 180 from who she was in high school (aside from still being (I am assuming) a good student). I just wonder if I have changed that much. It kind of sucks because Diana was way tamer (or so I though) and nicer than me in high school (not that I was in the least bit wild) and now its the opposite.

Time for the Rockstar:INXS update! Last night was the results show and Mig and Marty were both in the top three! The night before was an all acoustic show. Marty had to sing Hit Me Baby One More Time. Yes! The Brittany Spears song! He did it really dark and was good. Jessica finally got voted off. She's been up for elimination like 4 times. Its about time that bitch got kicked off! Anyway, I was wondering. Only the bottom three people have to sing INXS songs and then then band decides. What if the best people that the audience likes seriously suck at INXS songs? I mean the band hasn't heard them sing any. And also is this going to make me an INXS fan? No.
I got all of the classes that I registered for. But now I wonder how I am going to get to class. There is a parking lot at the bottom of the street that I live on and my plan was to ride my bike to that and ride the bus into campus. However, they are really slow finishing it up so I don't know about Monday!
And I read on the Ludo message board that Kris Roe is coming to Columbia for an acoustic show. Guess who about wet themselves? Me! So regardless if this makes me a bad person, I plan on going and being a dork about it.
I asked Glenn about Halloween-if he likes it since he doesn't like holidays. (Justin, don't make fun of my friends.) And we started discussing Halloween costumes. Then there was some joking about customers asking him if I was Mary Todd Lincoln because the girl we were sitting with said that I could pull her off very easily. This was after Glenn suggested Nancy Reagan and I said Barabra Bush and then Dolly Madison was thrown out there too.
Yes, Erica, you should move to Columbia.

Last week, Brandon got voted off of Rockstar, but I just found that out today.
I am going to register for classes today. I hope all goes well.
I skipped out on work Sunday because Jerry and his friend Pat (who I think could pull off looking like Scott Ian from Anthrax, but I think everyone looks like some one else)
came and visited. We went to the Missour State Fair in the rain. Jerry was cold and he wore my raincoat! It was too small. But before that, I made them pancakes. Jerry found a bottle of Vodka and much to my disapproval insisted on drinking it mixed with Dr.Hy-Vee. Then on our way, he peed infront of The Columns and then puked infront of some building whose name escapes me but I had biochem, genetics and ag econ there. Yes, that's my baby brother. At the fair, I saw Amie, Brandi and Jessica but say that Frei bailed on them. Whatever...
That's pretty much it. I'll leave you with this picture of Glenn and his nephew. (For someone that doesn't like anything, Glenn loves kids! Bizarre!)

All my people are safe on Rockstar. That's a relief since I missed it all last week and watched like 2 1/2 hours that I taped yesterday. Some of the people are pictured in the latest Star Magizine.
Moving went well enough. Martha helped me move my bed but it was a hassle and challenge for two intelligent college students. Will it fit in my car? What about yours? What if we take it apart? What if we balence the rails on the front seat and you risk getting hit with it while driving? I now need to finish unpacking and find some furniture (from dumpsters...I have no shame) to finish up. I get the gas turned on tomorrow afternoon so until then I can't cook or take a hot bath since I have my own water heater which of course is powered by gas.
After moving, I started on my way home. I had told my mom either Friday or Saturday that my car was acting up but she said to go home anyway. And about ten miles from Columbia my car broke down on the side of the interstate. I got it towed back to town and Amie picked me and Teddy up and took us home.
Pony Congress went well enough. We didn't get any national championships and this is the first year we havn't. That was a little disappointing. Tinkerbell was really good in her classes and got 3rd out of five in one. Nell was a great jumper and placed 4th (of 6) in hunter and 3rd (of 7) in jumper after a timed jump off. This means that I am a slow runner. I knew I should of been riding my bicycle more! Cody was good and cute all week. He likes ice cold water, Coca-Cola, wheat thins and lemon cookies. I made him a toy out of a few rocks in an empty baby wipes container. I also was discouraged to become a meat inspector or a dairy vet. But this guy said I could call him if I ever had a problem when I was in Lawerence. (That's where he lives with his ponies.)
Enrolling for classes is harder than I thought it would be. I havn't decided between taking 14 hours (too few?) or taking 19 hours (too many?). I have to get approval from CAFNR before being readmitted to the University. This consisted of walking all over campus in the heat and my poor flip-flops.
My little brother is home for two weeks before he has to go back to Kuwait. I saw him for 15 minutes yesterday. He brought me Nivea skin cream that I can buy at Hy-Vee...but it has Arbic writing on it! Poor Mid-West boy goes to another country. My older brother was supposed to come in with his two kids but decided not to. I thought he was turning 30 but its actually 31!
Justin, what's the deal with The Aquabats? E-mail me.
