All my people are safe on Rockstar. That's a relief since I missed it all last week and watched like 2 1/2 hours that I taped yesterday. Some of the people are pictured in the latest Star Magizine.
Moving went well enough. Martha helped me move my bed but it was a hassle and challenge for two intelligent college students. Will it fit in my car? What about yours? What if we take it apart? What if we balence the rails on the front seat and you risk getting hit with it while driving? I now need to finish unpacking and find some furniture (from dumpsters...I have no shame) to finish up. I get the gas turned on tomorrow afternoon so until then I can't cook or take a hot bath since I have my own water heater which of course is powered by gas.
After moving, I started on my way home. I had told my mom either Friday or Saturday that my car was acting up but she said to go home anyway. And about ten miles from Columbia my car broke down on the side of the interstate. I got it towed back to town and Amie picked me and Teddy up and took us home.
Pony Congress went well enough. We didn't get any national championships and this is the first year we havn't. That was a little disappointing. Tinkerbell was really good in her classes and got 3rd out of five in one. Nell was a great jumper and placed 4th (of 6) in hunter and 3rd (of 7) in jumper after a timed jump off. This means that I am a slow runner. I knew I should of been riding my bicycle more! Cody was good and cute all week. He likes ice cold water, Coca-Cola, wheat thins and lemon cookies. I made him a toy out of a few rocks in an empty baby wipes container. I also was discouraged to become a meat inspector or a dairy vet. But this guy said I could call him if I ever had a problem when I was in Lawerence. (That's where he lives with his ponies.)
Enrolling for classes is harder than I thought it would be. I havn't decided between taking 14 hours (too few?) or taking 19 hours (too many?). I have to get approval from CAFNR before being readmitted to the University. This consisted of walking all over campus in the heat and my poor flip-flops.
My little brother is home for two weeks before he has to go back to Kuwait. I saw him for 15 minutes yesterday. He brought me Nivea skin cream that I can buy at Hy-Vee...but it has Arbic writing on it! Poor Mid-West boy goes to another country. My older brother was supposed to come in with his two kids but decided not to. I thought he was turning 30 but its actually 31!
Justin, what's the deal with The Aquabats? E-mail me.
