I really don’t like negative people. It bothers me because I always try to be positive and happy. Being positive and happy makes me a better person and I can tell the difference when I have been negative and snarky for too long. I’ve done a good job of being super happy and positive while at SDI but as these ‘secretly’ blogs can attest, there are some things that really get me. And negative people is a big one!
There is this one girl that always has a negative remark for something. Some says we’re going to a bar called the L Bar or something and she has to be like lesbian bar…I talk about feeding the geese, she tells me not to feed the pests. I talk about Riley and she goes on and on about how much she hates corgis. I’ll admit corgis aren’t always the greatest dogs. They do tend to be snappy and mean because they are protecting their people. They have these twisted little legs that are hard to draw blood from. But in general, they are nice dogs. Riley is a super awesome dog once she knows you. And all this girl can say is that she hates corgis. She never makes an attempt to say that maybe my dog is the exception or apologize or give reason for her feelings, just that she hates corgis. I want to say, ‘well, I hate your dog too’. Ugh. I hate negative people. And I hate people that hate my dog without even knowing her.
