Xanga-April 17, 2005

Prepare for a long one.
Last week, on Saturday night, Kayleen and I went to Midnight Rodeo-a western dance/bar place, like Cody's in Columbia. We couldn't find Tin Cup where all the young vets were supposed to be. Anyway, Lil Jon's 'Get Low' song came on-I don't really know why-and I was dying to dance. So I broke out literally 3 seconds worth of the ska dance on the dance floor. Like 30 seconds later this guy (whose name turns out to be Brad) asks me to dance and his friend, Mark, asks Kayleen. We dance with them until like 12ish when Brad had to leave because he had to work at get this the fire station the next day, because he is a firefighter! Anyway, that was fun.
The next day we went to the beach at Daytona. On the way there we passed through this forest. I saw a wild pig and there were bear crossing signs! At on point, I think I might have heard the music from 'Deliverance' because that's how redneck this area is. We also saw that there were these beachfront condos called the Oceans in Daytona. There was Oceans One, Oceans Two, etc. I guess those are all the movies before Oceans Eleven or Oceans Twelve (the worst number next to thirty to spell). Anyway, when we got there it was windy and cloudy. That soon left but the ocean was very wavy. This was the first time I had ever been to the beach. Here is my check list:-get sand in places that you didn't know existed (check), write name and Ludo website in sand (check), build Ludo sand castle (check), eat ice cream from a truck driving along the beach (check-I had a scooter crunch bar!), met a very pale Brazilian guy named Eric (check), get a full body sunburn (check), inadvertantly drink a gallon of salt water (check), and watch an old man feed a pelican (check). I had a really good time and will go again before I leave.
I now am the barn bitch at the ERC. I clean stalls and water buckets and I feed horses. Its not too bad. We are dealing with a horse that has colic. We also sent one to the clinic for surgery. At home, my mom sent the newest baby (not Nell's but the one named Roxie) in for surgery. Its only a week old!
Friday night, Kayleen and I had dates with Mark and Brad. It wasn't too bad, but just nice to get to go out.
Last night, I went and saw Fall Out Boy in Orlando. It was a good show but the crowd seemed out for blood. Namely, mine. I was kicked in the head very hard. I fell. I was pushed into the mosh pit. I think I am too old. I can't wait for Ludo in Orlando in May. I'll be the only one there that knows the words. I am making a t-shirt for the event that says: 'I know why Ludo makes fun of Charlie Sheen' and then on the back: 'Because he's a fucking cokehead!' and really small at the bottom-'Take that Martha!' since she doesn't allow me to make homemade t-shirts anymore. Actually, I won't make one. Don't worry Martha-I'll uphold the contract this time.
