Xanga-July 11, 2006

You should go to that site to see the stats of my vet school class. Who says vet med is a man's field? But I am totally entering the man's world of large/food animal medicine for all those ag hotties.
I got my loan money information. First of all, I would of liked $31,000 but only got $26,000. The rub is this...actually there are two rubs. First, they tell you in your application that while vet school is so much you'll need a little more than $29,000 to live. Did I get that? And second, my entire undergrad loans were under $18,000. But my parents took out some for that. So I guess I don't fully grasp how much college is.
An update on GI JOE. She was found alive in a pasture. You see this is the story. After Mallory and I failed to locate her, Mallory and Eric went to look for her. Eric proptly spotted her in the pasture next to her's with some other calves including Lil' Sue and Goldie (What is weird here isn't that I named the calves but that everyone knows who I am talking about when I refer to them by their names.) Mallory got made fun of because obviously we hadn't counted right or something...Then Mallory went to the office to tell John that GI JOE was no longer MIA but had been in the next pen. There was a vet sitting in the office and they asked if she meant the Guernsey calf because they found her out wandering around and just stuck her into a pen not knowing which one she belonged in. YEA! Me and Mallory can count!
Joe came down this weekend. I was fully prepared to fight with him because I was angry at the world all week but by the time he got here I was so excited that we didn't fight. Friday when I got off work, we rented some movies and went to Steak'N' Shake. I had a frisco melt and this was the first time I had ever had a cheeseburger. I fell asleep on the floor while Joe watched a movie. Saturday we hung out, went to the arcade (I have the #2 score on Galaga!) and then went over to Glenn's party. Joe got into an aguement being a republican in democrat territory and all. Still it was fun. Sunday, Joe went home.
