Okay, first I want to do a little ranting and raving about Rockstar:INXS. I missed last night's show because I didn't have my tape set for the right time. Here's the thing though. Last night as well as two nights that I was actually home to watch the show, I have had the wrong times. Why? Because fucking CBS doesn't bother to tell me. You would think that they would want the loyal fans to keep watching so telling you what time its on would be a plus. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, this week after some internet research I found out that two people got cut-Heather who has this really soulful voice and some other girl. And for the third week in a row this girl Jessica was saved. And they called my dear Marty up for an encore of his performance of Lithium by Nirvana. I am truely sorry that I missed that. He did very, very good the first time. Its his type of song as well as I think some pop-punk/emo. However, I don't think that he'll make it all the way. He's been critized before. But I still love him
And now for a poem. I got a little too caught up in cliches (is that the correct spelling?) and stereotypes but its still decent.
An Emo Verse
My heart is a patch/ On my sleeve/ Crudely sewn and stitched/ You rip it off with such force/ And it flutters to the ground/ A thousand feet trample it/ A thousand wheels turn over/ My heart
Let me take my journal/ From my bag, with its pins/ And write a little/ Something for you/ A line, a lyric, a poem, a song/ Emo bands knew it/ All along
I'll site now, quiet/ In the corner/ Holding the broken shards/ Of glass, mirror/ That let you see into/ My soul, mistakenly
I go up the/ Down staircase/ And you lead me / The wrong way on a/ One way street
Shattered, confused/ Everything's spinning/ And I am falling/ Down/ To a sidewalk/ You're just a chalk/ Outline on my heart
And I am just a memory/ Washed away by my/ Own silent tears
I am thinking of posting this on the Ludo message board like Casi...
