Okay, here are some more cute stories about my cute dog!
The other night, Joe came over to distract me from doing my homework. And Riley was hanging out with us hoarding attention as usual. I have a stuffed tiger that Joe got for me one Valentine's Day that plays 'Eye of The Tiger' and punches the air when you press its paw. Riley is terrified of it and whenever you play it she normally runs to her crate. (Her greatest fear is of anything technology-the vaccuum, cameras, cell phones but she's taken to barking and growling at the phone thinking its a game.) Anyway, Joe and I started being dumb and he started dancing and singing 'Eye of the Tiger'. Riley started acting nervous. He started dancing again and I started singing instead. Riley eyed the tiger on my desk and was gone like a flash into the kitchen and into her crate!
The other night, I was studying in my bedroom and I could hear Riley in the hallway. She was running around, throwing herself against the wall and scooting on her back which is what she does when she is really excited. I wondered what she had gotten into so I got up and looked. She had gone into my bathroom, picked up a sliver or soap off of the edge of the tub and was eating it! She didn't like the taste and everytime she took a bite, she had to rub her mouth, head and then her back on everything! She's so silly.
I went to the dairy last night to check for calves. The cows weren't doing anything but I had someone with me that I was teaching. I noticed that 45 (Irene)-who is the oldest, sweetest cow ever (She's like 15 which is twice the average dairy cow's lifespan.) was missing. I thought maybe she had died so I looked it up in the log book and she had been sold! She had eye cancer. I feel terrible. I don't think I can eat hamburgers for awhile.
