The last time Joe came down and saw my new goldfish, he said I had a problem. I didn't know what he was talking about! Just because there's a dog, rabbit and goldfish in a one bedroom apartment doesn't mean I have a problem. Goldfish shouldn't even be considered pets. He takes up just as much room as a vase of flowers, which by the way I haven't recieved in a long time! (Just kidding Joe, get off the phone with the florist.) And takes nothing to feed and change his water. His water gets changed more offen then Teddy's cage gets cleaned. I'm a bad rabbit mom. However, the goldfish does get pretty excited about me entering the kitchen.
Anyway, the main thing was that Joe was just saying that if I could get away with it, I'd have a cat there too. And I would. BUT I can't get away with it until one of the animals leaves. (Goldfish not included.) Namely, Riley. I keep telling my mom that I'd trade my dog for her Manx cat. They both are about the same size, shape and color. No dice.
Again, anyway, what brought this on? This morning when walking Riley, all the cats in the two story apartments were in the window sills in the sun. There's a black and white in the first apartment, a yellow tabby and a black in white in the next, no cats but two yorkies that Riley plays with in the 3rd, and a calico and another cat in the fourth. You see why I want a cat. All these adorable cats are in the sun mocking me when I have to walk my dog. They're so cute! I think I need to visit the blood donor cats again...
