Riley absolutly despised wearing her costume but loves going to PetCo. We got in the store and there was some technical difficulties with the costume but they were easily fixed by some felt strips, safety pins and masking tape to keep her hat on in the right position.
Riley was fantastic at PetCo. She calmed right down and sat at my feet. I have some picture of her but I don't know if I can get them posted. But I'll post a picture of the prototype in my photos.
Anyway, eventually the pets (all dogs except for a gerbil dressed as a pizza and a cat in a pumpkin hat) (about 12-15+) were judged and awards given.
RILEY TOTALLY WON! We got a certificate, blue ribbon and a $15 gift card with which we're going to by Teddy Kellerman a hay rack and some dog treats, too. And Joe told me I wasn't going to win....
