The other day, we were going to drive Nell and decided to let Cody out in the pasture while we did so he could get some extra time to graze. There was this weanling colt out there that is roughly Cody's size and Bo, this big Saddlebred thing that has a thing against the ponies. Anyway, we turned Cody out and he galloped up to the other two full sized horses. We expected all hell to break loose but it didn't. Cody made quick friends and palled around with them the rest of the morning. It was cute! I noticed today that Cody has rubbed a 3" section of his mane almost completely out where he is leaning through the fence when drylotted. Bad pony!
So here's a recap of what I did today:
- woke up and showered
- worked the ponies
- got the oil changed in my car at Wally World (Joe has been bugging me about this.)
- got my prescription filled and bought some things
- got my hair cut ($15 and 5 minutes)
- ate lunch and watched TV
- laundry (three loads)
- applied frontline to the neighbor's dog and talked way too long to her
- broke down the boxes I've been intending on throwing out
- got the cable fixed
- spent way too much time on my iPhone looking at Facebook and Pinterest
- regreted not having time or the motivation to be as crafty as everyone on Pinterest (Damn you Amberle!)
- blogged
- watched more TV
- repotted a plant
- made dinner (pork chops, biscuits, broccoli, stuffing) and an instant cheesecake
- ate dinner
- got the recycling together and took it outside
- cleaned the rabbit cage
- cleaned the cat's box
- got the trash together and took it to the curb with the recycling
- watched TV
- walked the dogs
- showered
- blogged again
- now I will sleep in the ACed comfort of Joe's room-I turned it on as an oasis for him
