I spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the heat at the state fair with the mule club. Since I didn't spent the night in the stalls, I can't really complain. I had a shower and a twin size bed in a tiny dorm room on the State Fair Community College campus. We only put the mules in the opening day parade. They were pretty good. I saw some pretty cool stuff at the fair. I wrestled a mule, which sounds more impressive than saying a large draft mule managed to step around me and escape its stall so I grabbed it by its neck and stuffed it back into said stall. I think that's really the highlights of the fair. Martha visited on Saturday. Sarah won second place in the ladies team driving class with some one else's mules; Martha won last year; I might get to drive next year, though I'm not getting my hopes up.
Joe moves down this weekend.
I start school on Monday. I still haven't got my student loan money. Nor the $100 from my apartment complex for renewing my lease. I did however get $19.50 in rebates and some back to school buy some underwear money from my grandma. I bought a skirt at goodwill, a shirt and a bra that was too small at Wal-Mart.
