Well, since my real first day of school was pretty uneventful, I decided to recap my first semester of vet school. Most of the following is just what I wore to school, because remember, I was doing that then. I suggest skimming the entry and if you find something interesting then you can go read it at my Xanga site. Some of the stories are pretty good. Enjoy!
Monday, August 21st, 2006-First Day of School and I decided to note what I am wearing on a daily basis. Grey dress pants, an striped button down shirt and black leather ballet flats. ..:
Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006- day three of class; yesterday, wore a yellow striped skirt and a white shirt. Today-dress khakis and a blue top with lace. The shoes-the same.
Sunday, August 27th, 2006-Martha said that I should enter what I was wearing Friday night into a xanga entry; went out for dinner at Teller's and wore a denim skirt, brown heels (see a post from this summer about them) and a short sleeved striped oxford. Joe came to visit.
Monday, August 28th, 2006-Wore khakis, a white shirt and brown mules. Hated vet school.
Tuesday, August 29th, 2006-Wore a burgany t-shirt (which at one point after I was in the anatomy lab was on backwards! I ate lunch that way!), black ballet flats and a skirt that I made myself! Its tanish with burgany old English pastorial scenes and had red rick rack around the bottom. Felt better about school; Dallas Wilson talked to me.
Wednesday, August 30th, 2006-Wore black pants, white tank top and a long pink shirt. Black ballet flats and belt. Classmates complained about our dress code policy.
Thursday, August 31, 2006-Wore pink striped shirt over pink tank top, khakis and brown mules.
Friday, September 01, 2006-Casual Friday-jeans, emo-y Western shirt and tennis shoes.
Wednesday, September 06, 2006-Striped oxford shirt, black pants and black ballet flats. Got rid of some junk.
Friday, September 08, 2006-Yesterday-black flats, flowered skirt and pink polo; today, jeans and t-shirt. Apparently, Joe and I were fighting. I was mad Did somethings with a dairy cow and calf. Had an anatomy practical.
Tuesday, September 12th, 2006-Yesterday-Wore the printed skirt I made and the burgandy shirt that goes with it. Today-Wore a green t-shirt over a white tank top, khakis and brown mules. Delared my love for brocolii sunshine salad.
Wednesday, September 13th, 2006-Khaki pants (dressy ones), blue and white striped oxford over a white tank top and black ballet flats, black dress socks which don't really match but my feet have been getting cold. Apparently, had a histo test; nominated for an office in bovine club, which I lost. No surprise there.
Thursday, September 14, 2006-Yellow striped skirt, white shirt, and burgandy sweater, brown heels. Got an A on my anatomy lab practical; a C on the written histo part. Made some crafts.
Friday, September 15, 2006 Jeans, t-shirt, tennis shoes. Had some Halloween costume ideas
Monday, September 18, 2006 -Wore khakis, navy polo and brown mules. Discussed my weekend happenings; clothing and shoes and the search for a wedding present.
Tuesday, September 19, 2006 -Grey pants, black tank top, long pink shirt and black ballet flats
Friday, September 22, 2006 Yesterday- wore khakis, blue sweater with a white polo collar and brown mules. Today, its jeans, a blue shirt with lace on the top and tennis shoes Was prepared for smoker.
Monday, September 25, 2006 Pink striped shirt with pink tank top, khakis and brown mules. Discussed smoker events, the wedding and the weekend.
Tuesday, September 26, 2006 -Khakis, brown mules, maroon t-shirt. Complained about standing in line for the bathroom
Thursday, September 28, 2006 –Yesterday- gray pants, a striped oxford over a white tank top and pink flipflops. The flipflops were only to walk to and from the parking lot but then I realized that the incredibuly cute heels I had were too slick to wear. Today, its khakis, brown mules, white shirt and maroon sweater.
Monday, October 02, 2006 Friday-jeans, tennis shoes and an emo-y western shirt. Today- dress khakis which don't fit too great, brown heels, a green t-shirt over a white tank top and the beads that match but not really. Worked the football consession stand and made $10 by sticking my head in a bucket of ice water. Fed two calves at the dairy.

Thursday, October 19, 2006 -gray dress pants, black heels and a pink striped shirt over a pink tank top. Missed the third years. Riley ate her collar.
Monday, October 23, 2006- khakis, burgandy t-shirt and brown mules. Ran a milk a cow booth as a class fund raiser. Went to a CSPA meeting.
Tuesday, October 24, 2006- jeans, t-shirt that wasn't vet med related. Loved my boyfriend
Wednesday, October 25, 2006-dark purple suit. Without the English riding derby. Tried to work on Halloween costume.
Thursday, October 26, 2006-cream flowered Western shirt, khakis and brown mules; the shirt doesn't quite fit right and the buttons keep popping open in unopportune places. Saw a guy steal from the DeSoto Wal-Mart.
Friday, October 27, 2006 -Why I Hate Being a First Year -Jeans, t-shirt, tennis shoes...I had to change the jeans and shoes when I got here though because it rained.
Monday, October 30, 2006- The Smartest Dog Ever Strikes Again- denim skirt, brown heels and the polo/sweater vest top. Went to Erica and Justin's Halloween party and a Ludo concert. Riley escaped her crate and ate her collar.
.Tuesday, October 31, 2006- Pumpkin Fate- jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes; later changed into my costume. Considered what to do with a rotting pumpkin.

Tuesday, November 14, 2006- I'm not a veterinarian...but I might as well be...- Yesterday- khakis, brown mules, a navy polo and a burgany sweater. Today- jeans, my Smoker t-shirt and tennis shoes. And a hoodie. A very long entry about pulling a set of twins and finding some people doing it in a car at the dairy farm.

Friday, November 17, 2006- Thanksgiving break- Jeans, t-shirt and tennis shoes. The writing of the daily entry for clothing began as a joke but now I have to do it.
Monday, November 27, 2006- Barf!- a target employee today-burgandy shirt, khaki pants (with a pudding stain on them) and brown mules. Told the tale of collasping at Ellis Library.
