Xanga-November 14, 2005

Yesterday, I went and got coffee with my friend, Katie, that used to work at Hy-Vee. As I was walking into the Memorial Union, I saw a squirrel that was eating something rather large. I looked closer and it was eating a bird! An f-ing bird! Of course, this panicked me. And the following was much more animated as I relayed it to my friend-If squirrels are eating birds now what next? Its going to be cats, then large dogs, then ponies and people! I think that the squirrels on campus need to get naturally selected out! Its only a matter of time before they are eating us! And I hope, that was a dead bird that the squirrel was eating because if he caught it...Birds, even robins, are fast and I don't even want to think about what would happen if the bird was caught by the squirrel.
So this weekend was fun. I don't really need to go into details because anyone that knows what I am talking about probably has already heard the full story from multiple sources.
I love the po-po. I parked at a parking meter this morning but lost track of time and when I went out to my car there was an MU Police Officer putting a ticket on the windshield. I was like 'Aww, man.' He looked up and asked if that was my car and then after I said yes why it was flashing 00. I said because I lost track of time. Then he said because I was there now, he'd void the ticket! Yea! Normally, MU PD are assholes. Yea!
I hate when I work at the dairy on the weekends because there is something that messes with me when I have to feed on a Sunday morning and then again on a Monday morning. Its like my body and head say 'wait, you only do this every other day'. So normally, Monday when the alarm goes off I am confused by the time and what day of the week it is. Last week, it messed with my entire week-everyday. This week, I didn't have to work at the dairy farm but hardly worked at the Vee either so when the alarm went off this morning I had the same confused reaction.
