Xanga-November 18, 2005

Today, they played a joke on me at the dairy farm. They left a note saying to wear the dusk mask. I did. But after like a couple of minutes, I took it off because I couldn't breathe and it was hurting my nose. Why would you tell me to do this? No one was even there to laugh at me.
Yesterday, I took a nap before I went to work. It was noticeably colder in my house when I woke up. So I played with the thermostat. Nothing. My pilot light in my heater had gone out. So I went to work with the hope that it would be fixed on my return though some use of the fairy godmother of furnaces. It wasn't. I was too scared to try to light it myself-I don't like exploding houses, quite frankly. I called my dad. My mom talked me out of going to spend the night with Frei and I was cold all night. This morning after I came home from work, I lit it by myself. I figured I would try before calling the landlord. I guess I am the fairy godmother of furnaces after all.
