It looks like I will be staying in Columbia at least through May. That's what I have decided right now for the moment and my landlord is going to extend my lease.
I admire men (esp. young ones) that can grow a full beard. If I was a man, I would grow a beard. This made me wonder what I would look like as the male verison of myself. Unfortunatly, I wouldn't look like a male Leslie but more like my brothers. That's kind of disappointing. And if I hadn't joined the military but was doing the whole animal science thing, would I still have the same personality (that leads to my traits)? i.e would I still have the same shaggy curly brown haircut as a boy or would it be short? Would I pour myself into boots, wranglers and plaid shirts and ball caps everyday? Who would this male-Leslie be? Would my name still be Leslie?
This also connects to my thoughts this morning when I was in my insulated overalls and sock cap-Can anyone tell that I am a girl? I virtually have no chest (except maybe in the junior mints t-shirt...) and have none in my overalls. My hair is short for a girl and long for a boy but is hidden under a hat. But I decided that you could tell if you were close enough or saw me walk-girls walk differently than guys and its been concluded that I do indeed walk like a girl.
